About

As a landscape painter, my work is a celebration of nature's quiet beauty and a sanctuary for reflection. Through soft hues, gentle strokes, and stirring compositions, I seek to capture the serenity that exists in the natural world — allowing the viewer to pause, breathe, and simply be.
More than ever, we're choosing to forego a walk among the trees or a paddle along the river, in favour of screen time or other modern comforts. It's my sincere hope that my paintings can help restore just a little bit of balance in this life.
I work out of my studio in Ottawa, harnessing the remarkable landscapes of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. I draw inspiration from the subtle interplay of light and shadow, the myriad greens within the stoic forms of trees, the meditative rhythm of open skies, and the silent dialogue between land and water. Painting outside plays a strong role in informing my practice and allowing for an honest interpretation of the natural world.
I passionately believe in natural conservation efforts, and pledge to donate 10% of all online sales to Nature Conservancy Canada
